About Us

My name is Filippo Romagnoli and I’m the master corzetti carver here at Romagnoli Pasta Tools. In my family, we have been wood carvers, from father to son, for many generations. We have carved endless desks, tables, headboards, consoles as well as pasta tools!

Our corzetti stamps and rolling pins are handmade in the Florentine countryside (also known as Chianti) with the highest quality woods and meticolous attention to details. My grandfather Ferrando started carving croxetti stamps in 1918 in the artisan neighborhood of San Frediano in Florence. In 1933, he decided that it was time to move into a bigger workshop, so we relocated to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, the tiny Chianti village we’ve been calling home ever since. Close to our workshop are some of the most celebrated wineries in Tuscany, including Antinori’s Bargino. The Florentine countryside has so much to offer!

Also, I enjoy creating handcrafted pasta tools but my wife Luisella and kids Eduardo & Greta LOVE cooking + eating fresh pasta! So, don’t miss the recipe section: you will find several  delicious and easy-to-make recipes for corzetti stampati.

Hugs.

Filippo

ABOUT CORZETTI STAMPS

A corzetti stamp is a two-piece pasta tool: one piece is a pasta cutter, the other is an engraved stamp with a design that embosses itself on the pasta. Our corzetti stamps are handmade in our Tuscany-based workshop using quality woods and no paint or lacquer.
